Why has Cebu City under this mayor continued enrolling scholars at ACT since 2010 when the case was filed? They should stop this since they have no intention to pay ACT due to politics.

The question is not a matter of stopping students' enrollment to ACT because it is the students' right to choose what school to enroll based on some incentives offered by the school to those with scholarship grants. But what is of paramount importance is for the city to pay its outstanding debt to the school. The school also has its own obligation to its faculty members in matters of giving monthly salaries and other maintenance costs to  run a large school. Mayor Mike Rama knows this but we don't know how viciously sometimes power influences the thinking of some people who find themselves in the pinnacle of power. But we should lose no hope that in due time the City Mayor will be able to find himself to realize that in so doing he is not only sacrificing the school's existence to  continue providing educational services to the students but most importantly he puts in peril the likelihood of students to continue enjoying their scholarship privilege in ACT, a scenario which Mayor Mike should try to rationalize because it involves the future of these poor but deserving and talented students who are considered, "the hope of the fatherland."
