MATAPOS NA BA ANG KINAWATAY SA KABAN KON MABALHOG NA ANG TULO KA DAGKONG SINUMBONG???

In our democracy, the discordant voices that leave tales of inequality and abuses by the privileged few can be put to litmus test finally if arrest warrants are issued against the controversial figures in the plunder case.

But are we to believe that jailing Senators Enrile, Estrada and Revilla is the panacea of people’s unrest towards systemic corruption in government service? Others may allow themselves to be dissuaded by this euphoria but something is amiss somehow, somewhere.

We must learn from the basic. The gravity with which the multi-billion peso corruption known as the PDAF scam and everything don't come in handy without the unanimous support and connivance of those who are not impleaded by the DOJ, or should we say, intentionally abstracted by it from the charge.

Let us all be watchful. After all, vigilance is the best weapon of choice to inform the powers that be that ours is a government of laws and not of men.
