Kaban ni D_BystandeR: HANGIN SA POLITIKA MAG-AGAD SA PAMUNUAN NGA NAGDALA

I find the analysis in this Sunstar editorial as the outcome of a valid research and soul-searching questions which seek to  describe how hollow is the premise used by Mayor Mike Rama in asking the two lawmakers, Rep. Benhur Salimbangon and Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano to deliver a scathing speech in  Congress to expose Malacañang's lack of interest in providing  needed help for projects that the city badly needs. Instead of expecting help from those two lawmakers, he should find ways and means to stand on his own feet.

He is not new in politics. What he did after winning his post as elected Mayor of Cebu City when he dismissed hundreds of casual workers who had  served the city for so many years, and some of them even expected to apply for retirement in several months or years to come, and he summarily replaced them with his supporters, it is the same kind of political strategy applied to him by Malacañang.
