Kaban ni D_BystandeR: GISURAMBAW ANG SUMBONG?

It is really unfortunate that this case filed by a lady whose chastity was criminally violated during her stay in a "safehouse" of the Witness Protection Program (WPP) which is supposed to be manned by professional people sworn to protect their sworn duty "at all costs" has, by some "twist of fate," one of its members, a "professional guard" at that, became the respondent of a case where he was charged of "committing the crime of rape" for "36 times" against the will of a helpless woman who sought protection in its  so-called "safehouse" otherwise known as a "sanctuary" for those in need of critical help from the government. And the charged offender is a government employee who took advantage of his position as the "official guard" during his official duty but who managed to become "irresistibly enslaved" by the "call of the flesh" thus he became the respondent of the crime of rape. But there are just some people whom we call "influential" for they "wield" invisible power and you will only come to know they are "that untouchable" when you get to know the outcome of the case filed against them. This is actually what happened to a case filed by that lady against that "offender"who even risked her life, safety, future and most of all her remaining reputation just to find justice for her sacred rights as a human being worthy of equal protection of law before man and God. The sad news is that the case was not even able to land in the "first base" because the City Prosecutor Felixberto Jeromo (spelled as Geromo in the news?) "strangled" the case right in his Office before it could become the subject of "free and unhampered" discussion of relevant facts in the court of law because in his "evaluation" it does not possess strong and meritorious evidence to warrant his respect.

I know this prosecutor to be honest and "God-fearing" but we don't know the "real story" what's going behind the "scene." Madam Thelma Chiong who heads an "advocacy group" for crime prevention" in the Central Visayas can do something to find out the "truth" behind this "ignominious" defeat of "truth" where "justice" was supposed to be upheld for the protection of the "common man."

Magtatampo usab siya isip magsusulat sa nasudnong magasin,  "Philippines Free Press" ug sa mga nag-unang peryodiko dinhi sa dakbayan sa Sugbo sa lunhaw pa ang iyang pangedaron. Nahimo siyang mamumuo sa usa ka pribadong kompaniya sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, ESCAÑO LINES, sulod sa napulo ug duha (12) ka tuig  dayon niyang tapon  ngadto sa NAPOCOR  ug nahimong kawani sa kagamhanan  sulod sa bayente dos (22) ka tuig. Niadtong tunga-tungang bahin sa tuig 2000, nilalin siya ngadto sa tinipong nasod sa Amerika ug sulod sa napulo (10) ka tuig, nagtrabaho siya sa  buhatan sa kagamhanan sa nasod sama  sa  UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE (USPS).  Karon sa pangedaron nga 68,  gihuptan gihapon niya ang walay pagkutat nga kadasig ug walay busganan nga kaikag sa pagpaambit sa iyang nahuptang abilidad  ug kabatid sa panulat.  Dili niya mapugngan ang kaugalingon sa pagpaambit sa iyang mga hunahuna labi na kon molambigit kini ug hisgotanan nga makadani sa iyang mga mata.
