Kaban ni D_BystandeR: PILDIRO SI TOTOL???

I understand Totol Batuhan was moving heaven and earth to come out victorious in the last election. But sad to say he has no chance of winning tungod kay "nakasandal sa pader" si Bebot Abellanosa. Dili tiaw ang maniobra nga gibubo ni Totol aron lang modaug. I was even tempted to think that what he did was already a tactic known as "below the belt" intentionally done to tarnish the good image of Bebot which he tried to build up painstakingly through the years through good works that benefited a good deal of his constituents. And now that Totol lost in a most humiliating defeat, I'm sure, a man of his stature can hardly accept it - a 25,000 votes gap. I can only extend to him my deepest sympathy with a friendly advice that he has to accept the truth no matter how bad it hurts his feelings because that's one of the sad realities in life. But I know this is not the end of the road for a man like Totol as long as he will not lose sight of the fact  that by being a true gentleman in a defeat or victory he might still be able to launch another battle and who knows he might become victorious next time. When my son took his bar exam in 1995 he met a man who took his bar exam for the seventh time and he made it together with my son.

There was once a saying that before you launch yourself in a crucial battle you must be able to size up the strength of your opponent and compare it with what you have so you will always be assured of victory. But in this case sad to say the chips are not on Totol's side. He is a poor loser.
