Kaban ni D_BystandeR: TOMMY UG MIKE DILI HAUM MAGKAHIUSA SA USA KA ENTABLADO???

Tommy Osmena does not deserve to be lumped together on the same platform with the discredited Garcia dynasty who lost in the recently concluded elections. Tommy is a well respected politician and he played his part honorably in line with the legacy of good government he inherited from his grandpa Don Sergio Osmena, "The Grand Old Man of Cebu," and his dad Serging Osmena, "The Niño Bonito of Cebu." But this election is the result of a mentor being defeated by  a ruthless political opponent who used to be his longtime ally who employed all the dirty games in politics just to get what he wants. 

He dismissed 500 city hall employees at the start of his term and replaced them with his own men and tried to win the political patronage of majority of village chiefs in the mountain barangays by giving them brand new motor vehicles worth millions. And those barangay chiefs known to be under Tommy's clout were not given the financial benefits that usually accrue to them like what happened to Tejero Barangay Captain Jessielou Cadungog whose P12 million worth of receivables for infrastructure projects already budgeted for his barangay he lost it as well as his application for cash conversion of his unused leave credits valued at P30,000 he failed to collect because Rama would not sign his application paper. 

In short, Rama is a ruthless political opponent who stops at nothing just to win. I just hope his new victory will be characterized with magnanimity to be able to succeed in his new term.
