Tobacco industry will survive like it did in the US after higher taxes were levied on them. As long as they are legal and people has a choice to smoke or not to smoke tobacco, a substantial number will still take chances and continue the habit. The tobacco industry will be smaller though and the land that are being used to grow tobacco can be used to grow useful, healthy, and profitable agricultural food products. It is a win-win law that will reduce partakers of a destructive and unhealthy habit and at the same time provide funds for those afflicted with illnesses that are results of the smoking habit. An extra benefit is the conversion of lands growing tobacco to grow essential, healthy, and profitable farm products.
