Kaban ni D_BystandeR: DILI KASARANGANG KAANYAG

A 21-year-old transgender beauty from the Philippines - Kevin Balot - was crowned "Miss International Queen 2012" in Thailand's seaside resort Pattaya on Friday. Balot, who will travel to represent the  transvestite pageant, received 10,000 US dollars, a crown from a well-known gems store in Thailand and other gifts.  Twenty one contestants from 15 countries vied for the crown in the annual competition for transvestites. The contestants were selected from more than 100 entries from nearly 30 countries. Balot was crowned the winner in this year's competition, beating out Brazil's Jessika Simoes with a  brilliant Q & A.  There were four Filipino transvestite contestants in the final stage but only two made  it through to the 10.  "Someday I want to go to Europe and to represent my country, the Philippines. So I'm so proud to present the beauty of the gays back to our country, the Philippines," said Balot.  She  participated in three transvestite pageants in the Philippines but competed abroad for the first time for  the "Miss International Queen 2012."  "We really looked at her at the first round, because she's lovely,  and her personality is very personable, and the way she answered the question, she's really smart," explained Seri Wongmontha, head of the judges in the pageant.  An emotional Balot told reporters that  she hoped the win would help her gain acceptance from her father.

"I'm very proud to be the first here,  and I hope my dad will accept me. Because in the family I'm the only boy, and my dad is having a big expectation in me. I made it. I won the International Queen Pageant, and I believe that my dad will accept me that not only as his son but also as his daughter," she said.  One contestant said the competition  offered transvestites and transgenders a chance to show off their potentials.

Life is full of unanswered questions because there are things which no matter how you want it straighten is beyond your power. Like this case where a father who wants to have a son because he got all girls but when the boy came out it became his problem because the boy belonged to the 3rd sex, meaning, he was a gay. But the power of God is really hard to fathom because that gay son of him excelled in "her" chosen "path" and turned out to be a champion in an International Gay Contest held in Thailand and was awarded, among others, a cold cash of $10,000! and many more accompanying rewards.
