Kaban ni D_BystandeR: DALAYGON SI ATTY. FRANK

I appreciate the humor injected by Atty. Frank in his story about Dracula being designated to watch a blood bank in an analogy with the case of a rape-victim who thought she could have peace of mind and a decent sleep inside a WPP safe house.

The supposed to be guard-protector turned out to be a "seasoned criminal-rapist" who was not only contented with committing rape just for a "record-one-time effect" but he indulged in committing that heinous crime for 36 times from January to March, probably thinking of his impunity as "undetectable" for he is an agent under DOJ. And now he continues to roam around free as a bird and I only hope he does not find another victim to satisfy his "insatiable sex urge" from any of our women's group as the authorities seem to be treating him with "kid gloves."

A crime of this magnitude should have been dealt with decisively to ensure he cannot inflict more harm to other innocent victims. In the case of CCTV issue, I think it is better to leave it to the ultimate discretion of the City Council and not to mix it with political color just because they belong to BOPK who composed the majority. But over all, compared to other Sunstar columnists already branded as tainted with particular political party leanings, I doff my hat to Atty. Frank for his wisdom in articulating his thoughts with utmost care and sincerity of intentions to project a message that benefits the public welfare of the common man.
