Kaban ni D_BystandeR: GITABONAN UG TEKNIKALIDAD ANG KAMATUORAN NGA DILI MABALIT-AD???

The Office of the Court Administrator is using a technicality which would deprive justice to the relatives of the victims who died in the sinking of M/V "Princess of the Stars" who  are considered indigents due to a requirement that all relatives who are signatory to filing of the case against the shipping company should pay P1,000 otherwise failure of one of the  listed accusers will result in the dismissal of the case. And  we should bear in mind that the majority of the Supreme Court en banc is likewise the "barkadas" of Corona and this group is considered to be notorious in issuing anti-people promulgation of decisions like the one which made a mockery of an earlier decision giving millions of pesos as back wages and rewards in damages to the illegally dismissed PAL employees more than a decade ago which were "unceremoniously" reversed by the same court to the detriment of the concerned PAL employees who had earlier rejoiced in jubilation for that earlier decision. The number of years that passed since the sinking of that ill-fated ship where court litigation seemed to have gone for for too long  could be a strategy aimed at exhausting the patience of the poor litigants pitted against an influential and moneyed opponent. Any false move like a failure of one of the litigants to pay the required fee of P1,000 is a technicality which cannot be ignored to become a source  of a possible game-ender as it could decisively derail the whole struggle of the poor litigants. And this could render the fight to obtain justice an uphill battle as any one of them could be "courted" by the respondent shipping company to  cause a possible default by enticing him or her with "bundles of money" for him not to intentionally pay the fee thereby render the whole thing void. And this latest development where the Supreme Court en banc handed down an adverse decision to the pleadings made in 2011 by PAO Chief Persida Acosta in behalf of their indigent clients to be exempted from paying the sheriff's travel expenses because they are poor is a clear indication and a glaring testimony that the poor has no place in the stony hearts of the justices.

This bunch of "hardened" justices who are perceived to be disgruntled over the appointment of Maria Lourdes Sereno by Pres. Noynoy as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court replacing CJ Corona and in the process bypassing in terms of seniority the "SC old-guards"  is throwing their weight around. This drove CJ Sereno, in one of her unforgettable Christmas messages to her peers that she was doing her job as a "servant leader" to maintain unity and to preserve peace in her own turf because she  cannot do what she wants to streamline the operations of the Supreme Court without the cooperation of the "old guards." One example of the intransigence and belligerence shown by them was their obvious refusal to attain the flag ceremony every Monday for several weeks immediately after CJ Sereno's assumption to her post when their attendance was so required of them even if they are SC magistrates.

Nahimo siyang mamumuo sa usa ka pribadong kompaniya sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, ESCAÑO LINES, sulod sa napulo ug duha (12) ka tuig  dayon niyang tapon  ngadto sa NAPOCOR  ug nahimong kawani sa kagamhanan  sulod sa bayente dos (22) ka tuig.
