The comparison is out of place. What is at stake here is the plight of typhoon victims who suffered scarcity of rice in their place and to delay it for a few more days will just be okay for those who do not suffer the disastrous effect of that typhoon. If you equate your reasoning based on the literal translation  found in the books you will surely miss the point which is a matter between life and death to those badly affected by typhoon. And you should be guided by the saying that "a hungry man is  an angry man." And delaying rice to be distributed to hungry typhoon victims is one unpardonable mistake that will haunt your conscience even while you are asleep because of your unforgivable misdeed and sloppy decision making.

Note: This in reaction to an editorial appearing in The FREEMAN which badly criticizes the action made by the just resigned Custom's Chief Ruffy Biazon to release a large shipment of rice intended for Isabel, Leyte for its typhoon victims, and for which our Governor Jun Davide was earlier reported in the news to have urged for its release. The vessel carrying that huge shipment was earlier stopped by Cebu Customs authorities for suspicion that it was a fraud. But certifications as to  its veracity were already issued by corresponding parties hence, the decision to release it by Biazon is deemed proper, an exception to the Freeman's editorial that castigated Biazon for doing it as his last official act before resigning his post, and not to wait for his successor to act on it.
