I have read the statements of Congressman Reynaldo Umali and I am impressed with his guts in exposing the daring controversial decisions shown by the Supreme Court which could only mean it is riding roughshod into its vast powers with which it can do anything it wants to whoever stands along the way. And no ordinary lawyer can afford to stand against the threatening voice of the Supreme Court to disbar anybody who tries to question its own perception of infallibility. The many incidence of flip-flopping decisions can attribute to this as one undeniable fact of how it wants to make a mockery of justice believing it is above the law.

I am amazed that you are impressed by the statements of Congressman Umali in exposing the daring controversial decision involving DAP. Bakit pala he did not make any move to amend the Constitution so that the SC's final decision could be subject to congressional review (as itwas in the Marcosian Constitution? Do you have any legal knowledge or have you studied law or political science?

Talking about legal knowledge, there is nobody who can surpass the brilliance of President Ferdinand E. Marcos. But look what happens! It is not the brilliance of one's  knowledge about law that makes him great. It is how he interprets the law and applies it to our daily lives in order to give the needed breathing space for everybody to savor the democratic ways of our country that counts more  in the final analysis.
