Kaban ni D_BystandeR: MILUBAD SI JOJO???

With the recent highly partisan reaction shown by Jojo Binay of UNA to sympathize with the suspended Gov. Gwen, I lost my high regards to him because he now clearly departs from his being a reasonable man to a careless man who jumps to conclusion risking his political future just to grab the headline just so he can be closely identified with Gwen as he is largely banking on her vote-getting potential considering that she is a 3rd-termer governor. 

He forgets that in America, in the State of Illinois, a politician's record of being successively voted into office is not enough guarantee that he is indeed corruption-free in his administration; Gov. Rod Blagojevech was convicted of wrong doing and is now serving a 14-year sentence in prison. By trying to grab all opportunities to become a hero of the hour, he even gave the opinion that Gwen's case does not deserve a 6-month-suspension but only a suspension that would not extend 60 days.  Aware that it was Cory Aquino who was responsible for making him a man of consequence by appointing him OIC Mayor of Makati right after Cory's assumption to power in 1986, I trusted him to be following the path of righteousness that Cory has set up for him. But lately he appears so engrossed in his personal ambition to become the next president after Noynoy's term that he is now taking potshots on issues questioning the soundness of Noynoy's suspension order. It can be interpreted that his moral support to Gwen encouraging her to become belligerent against the President is just like telling her to be intransigent in her stance. And this is not good for him because he has an "unsigned  moral obligation" to maintain his good record as a true disciple in the memory of Noynoy's mother Cory. And his decision to  give comfort to Gwen because of what he is doing can be interpreted as his clear and voluntary departure from his connection with the memory of Cory being a close "ally" of the democratic icon. And he is doing this not only because Gwen is an UNA member but he is more blinded  because of his personal ambition to capture the presidency in 2016. 

Binay's careless move could boomerang to him resulting with him losing the sympathy and support of Cory's supporters who many believed was largely instrumental to him getting the No. 2  highest post of the land in  the last presidential election.

Nahimo siyang mamumuo sa usa ka pribadong kompaniya sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, ESCANO LINES, sulod sa napulo ug duha (12) ka tuig  dayon niyang tapon  ngadto sa NAPOCOR  ug nahimong kawani sa kagamhanan  sulod sa bayente dos (22) ka tuig.
