Kaban ni D_BystandeR: PANAGANG SA KATALAGMAN???

I don't think the "born-again Christians" can make Cebu any better by hiring an airplane for a week to fly over Cebu province so they can bless the island and its people. If I remember right, this kind of religious cult was prominently cited before the great disaster took place in Ormoc City that claimed the lives of more than 10,000 people. It was this group who were reported to have made a campaign against religious statues of Senyor Santo Niño and made it their morning ritual to destroy them, some using hammers to pulverize the statues of the miraculous Holy Child and throwing them to the river thereafter. And it was reported that that particular place near a river bank inhabited by most of the cult's members were wiped out in that great flood. I just hope their presence in Cebu City or anywhere in Cebu province will not serve like a magnet, God forbid, to attract disasters with the magnitude that devastated Ormoc City in the '90s. The ever presence of our miraculous Senor Santo Niño whose miracles of good fortune showered to Cebuanos has been heralded since the Spanish era is strongly expected and fervently prayed by religious devotees to ward-off any attempt by some questionable cults' entry into our blessed and sacred place of Cebu. 

And with the added presence of San Pedro Calungsod whose Thanksgiving Mass attracted millions of Christians around the world, Cebu's safety for its people from any kind of "invaders" is highly assured that Cebuanos have nothing to worry about.
