Kaban ni D_BystandeR: DALAYGON ANG PAGTALIKOD SA PADANGOG???

If Court of Appeals Justice Gabby Ingles and Judge Menmen Paredes were able to say "NO" to LGU's court allowances to avoid the suspicion of rendering decisions favorable to cases where the LGU's interest is at stake, why can't other judges follow the laudable example of these two leading judges? Lately, I noticed two cases of the City of Cebu assigned to a certain  RTC judge? came out victoriously. And it registered a "happy feeling" on the part of Mayor Mike but he tried to tone down his "excitement" by saying he will not say anything "bad" to the "politicians" on the other side of the fence because he wants to remain calm despite his legal victories. That was when his case about the "convenio" and the "lien" on SRP lots on account of the "Rallos case" were given favorable decision by that RTC judge.

I told myself if another case of the city handled by the same judge still wins (for the 3rd consecutive time) I will be 100 percent convinced that no doubt the LGU-given court allowances have played an important role "in those cases." And not too long ago RTC Judge Bienvenido Saniel figured  out in the news when his court allowance from the Capitol was "ordered stopped" by former Gov. Gwen because he rendered a decision adverse to the case filed by the Capitol.
