Kaban ni D_BystandeR: DILI HAUM NGA PAMAAGI SA PAGPATAGAM???

This is how ridiculous our justice system is: Imposing too much of a fine in one offense will already pose a big problem to our poor drivers. And accumulating the offenders in a group of 32 drivers apprehended in one setting alone for the court ordered "arrest warrants" is too much and immoral. I don't think the excuse offered by Citom chief Rafael Yap can justify it claiming, "it was possible that bench warrants were already there but were not served."

To instill discipline to drivers you don't have to wait for that "magnitude of drivers apprehended" - 32 drivers in one sweep alone. To make a sample to one driver is already enough to spread the word that Citom really "means business." 32 drivers - multiply it by five to make a modest family head count will give you 160 people and their family is totally depending upon the "driver's income" for their daily subsistence. And to think that all of them are now behind bars one can just imagine what the hell of a problem it poses to the family. If senators and congressmen are still breathing the air of freedom despite the "discovery of a P10B pork barrel scam" they have been accused of enriching their own pockets for a period of three years, then there is more reason to temper the harshness of our laws directed to our poor drivers who are trying to make a living in a decent way.
