Kaban ni D_BystandeR: ANG ISOG NGA BISE ALKALDE

The recent campaign led by the "fearless" Vice Mayor Rudy Duterte of Davao City, which was participated by Davao City Police Office (DCPO) and Highway Patrol Group (HPG) against an influential man named Ryan "Baktin" Yu of Davao who was believed to be the leader of a "widely connected" carnapping gang netted 14 vehicles found inside a warehouse in Sarphil, Barangay Wilfredo Aquino, Agdao District, in Davao City. The Vice Mayor was fuming mad and warned Yu not to come back to Davao anymore or something bad will happen to him. Not long ago Davao was known to be a "crime free" city under the "iron fist" policy of then City Mayor Duterte who was known to be very vocal against all kinds of criminality in his area of responsibility. He was known to have warned the criminals not to make any "monkey business inside his city or they will regret it. He suspected this recent carnapping incidents involving some vehicles is done with the connivance of some unscrupulous government authorities and some "bad eggs" from LTO. But he pointed out that LTO in Region XI is not a part of this carnapping gang because LTO 11 is very strict in the inspection of corresponding papers for registration of cars in their area.

He surmised that other LTO offices are part of it and that it will take time to come up with the names of those involved after a tedious investigation is done by concerned authorities. Although Vice Mayor Duterte has come of age now but still remembering his past record as a "no-nonsense" crime fighter during his younger days is enough to send "jitters" to the criminals whenever he issues a warning to them.
