Kaban ni D_BystandeR: NAGHIBAT NGA PANAN-AW???

I find the views and observation of Bong Wenceslao as quite conflicting as it would seem that he was trying to project himself as a kind of "specie" different from the people he calls "superstitious." But in his "confession" that happened to him "years ago" when he was still roaming around the wilderness at night perhaps testing the limits of how "brave" he was at that time, there was an incident where he thought he "passed by" a farmer's house but after awhile when he looked back it was a darkened "clump" of ipil-ipil trees. And believing perhaps in his subconscious mind it was a "devil's work" he decided not to look back anymore or he will not be able to exist now to tell the story like this had he not resisted the temptation to look back. His assertion that a psychiatrist instead should be sent to the "haunted area" to make a scientific explanation and not the "exorcist" looks funny, to say the least. He did not however say that Fr. Kriekinbeck, who is the acknowledged and number one exorcist priest in Cebu, failed in his job. But to suggest otherwise is way out of line. And he mentioned about the mass hysteria where the laughter that started in a school in Tanzania in 1962 proved to be the most puzzling to comprehend. When the school was closed by the authorities, the epidemic spread to a village that it ended as no laughing matter. This last case he cited in his column debunked the falsity of his claim that the "superstitious" are the ones magnifying the matter about the presence of evil spirits.

 Bong should try to accept the reality that in this world there are things which science cannot explain but the exorcist can help in controlling them as it would now be clarified and understood that the power of God reigns supreme over the evil spirits.
