CDQ is a towering figure when it comes to the art of writing articles that touch on the burning issues of the day. He made a clear cut description of how the political system of our country revolves around the hands of the oligarch. 

The present trend where the P-Noy administration is now busy welcoming to their fold those belonging to other political camp headed by GMA before is intriguing, to say the least, and when asked why they are doing that the answer is simple: They are supporters of P-Noy administration for the last two years and the reason behind that is because politics is addition. But the problem comes in: Is it addition to people belonging to the oligarch and subtraction to the poor and the oppressed sector? The system as you will see is bound to perpetuate the role of those who are considered elite or the moneyed class to rule the country and giving no chance to those from the poor sector. CDQ lamented the fact that the party-list system of candidates are blatantly intruded by scions of the powerful and the moneyed sector. Look at the case of GMA's son, Mikey Arroyo, a party-list Representative representing the security guards, another fellow who lives in the Corinthian Garden represents the squatters, and a Supreme Court justice wife represents the indigent blind. "That's what makes it the hardest thing to reform the country. 

The people who are supposed to undertake reform are the very ones who are allergic to reform. The people who are best suited to undertake reform, who are the people themselves, are excluded from it," CDQ observed and lamented. And this observation holds true judging from what is happening right now as election time draws nearer and closer.
