Kaban ni D_BystandeR; PANAHOM

I have high regards for this columnist Frank Malilong but even though he has in his belief reflected the attributes of Mike Rama in its proper perspective but there is one thing I want to disagree with him in the manner of laying the ground works for cementing the "credibility" of Rama as far as his sincerity to "defend to the death" the principles and obsession of treading good governance that President Noynoy held high as "worth fighting for." This might be considered a tall order for Frank or not very important for him in his assessment of Rama's sincerity to P-Noy but the people and independent observers whose memory do not easily fade away with the passing of time especially that the impeachment of the former CJ Corona just took place very recently last May 29 of this year  ponder over this case if we can just regard it as one of the "unintentional lapses" of Rama's "personal judgment" that people were stunned in disbelief to hear from him answering a question propounded to him by the media about his comment for Corona's impeachment shortly after his conviction by the Impeachment Court. And do you know what and how he answered that very simple question? Rama, without batting an eyelash, said the impeachment of Corona was not justified. If he was smart enough to show his thoughts were "in line" with what has been perceived as the President's obsession in his dislike of Corona, he should have been more careful not to "hurt" the feelings of President Noynoy considering that what he was saying was a rebuff and repudiation of what the President has long "dreamed of" to fire out the "misfits" in his "matuwid na daan." And now Rama is claiming he is an honest disciple of P-Noy saying he was always there in supporting what the President considered as right and admirable. Rama in this kind of presentation by Frank has been likened to a man who does not know from what direction the "tempest" hit him!

How funny is it for this man Rama to claim that he was a victim of "somebody's failure" to accredit him with a "reward" for "a job well done?" Maybe he will be able to realize this after the 2013 elections when Tommy O will be proclaimed as the next City Mayor of Cebu City where he rightfully belongs!
