It's good to see Gov. Gwen celebrating her 57th birthday today, Oct. 12, 2012, in a manner intended to boost her popularity and enhance her image as a "woman with a heart of gold." And people are not surprised with her visible display of generosity in her light moments with her well-wishers and supporters, and most especially to the Capitol employees, who are living witness to her confirmed generosity when it comes to the giving away of Christmas bonus where she is the only living governor who has given huge amount of Christmas gifts to them. Her visit to the church in Basilica del Santo Nino where she showered "a few thousands there" to the untold happiness of the poor folks in the area especially those engaged in selling candles will surely provide a lasting memory that will be endlessly "retold" to their friends and relatives as years go by. "My heartfelt greetings goes to Gov. Gwen on her 57 birth annivesary. 

May this remarkable birthday celebration that also touches the lives of the poor candle vendors in Santo Nino church be emulated by other personalities who are equally 'gifted with the worldly treasures on earth' to follow the example you have shown in your last term as 'the first lady governor of Cebu.'"

Magtatampo usab siya isip magsusulat sa nasudnong magasin,  "Philippines Free Press" ug sa mga nag-unang peryodiko dinhi sa dakbayan sa Sugbo sa lunhaw pa ang iyang pangedaron. Nahimo siyang mamumuo sa usa ka pribadong kompaniya sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, ESCANO LINES, sulod sa napulo ug duha (12) ka tuig  dayon niyang tapon  ngadto sa NAPOCOR  ug nahimong kawani sa kagamhanan  sulod sa bayente dos (22) ka tuig.
