Their early reaction when it was first exposed by the NBI to the public about their complicity to the crime of killing Archival and two of his close aides, clearly showed palpable signs of guilt as HPG suspects were evasive of the charges and could not even be contacted by newsmen in their office. They seem to be "on the run" and in hiding from the public, the visible signs of guilt of people who cannot afford to see the light because they were hiding in "darkness." And it is only now that, through the prodding of their lawyer, they tried to ask questions that are considered impertinent and bordering on asking the impossible things like asking evidence about how the NBI was able to link them to the crime. There are scientific methods applied in crime solving and the NBI people are experts along this line.
