The late invitation received by Binay's camp only succeeded to have the Vice President's presence excluded in the welcoming party at the airport for the arrival of two neighboring heads of state from Indonesia and Vietnam. Maybe the favorable points earned by Binay during the airport arrival of Pres. Obama did not register well with the administration's expectation because it somehow succeeded in his garnering of high "pogi" points in a poll survey, thus making a headway into garnering delightful advances for his presidential dreams in 2016.

Footnote: This comment came out in connection with a Philstar headline, "Binay eased out of arrival rites for Indonesian, Vietnamese leaders?" Due to late invitation received by Binay's camp, he was not able to attend to the scheduled welcoming  at the airport for the arrival of neighboring dignitaries as he was already committed to an earlier engagement in Bacolod City.
