Kaban ni D_BystandeR: KAPARIAN NAGPANON PADULONG NI GMA???

Whatever CBCP President Socrates Villegas does to explain and defend the embarrassing visit of the "5 Churchmen" to GMA is beyond his power because the people now are vigilant and well-informed. If he argues that priests are doing regular visits to prisoners in their congested prison cells and there's no reason for the people to make a howl of protest to this "visit," it is lacking in merit and credibility. The visit made by the 5 Bishops to GMA inside her air-conditioned room in VMMC is highly questionable considering the media mileage it generated and the explanation given to justify the "visit." The Catholic Church already suffered a "blackeye" before with the "7 Pajero Bishops" making the headlines during the heydays of GMA.

If this is how CBCP leadership reacts to the adverse reaction of the people against the "5 churchmen" going astray by figuring in that "embarrassing visit" to GMA, then the future of the Catholic organization in our country is in great peril, not to mention that it is doing the complete opposite of what Pope Francis has shown in his leadership by example that he is sincerely embracing the poor to help them fight against the injustices common to see when living a life in poverty.
