Kaban ni D_BystandeR; MAY HULGA ALANG NI BISE- GOBERNADOR AGNES???

Almost two months after the election last May 13, news about about a serious threat on the life of then Acting Gov. Magpale came into the open that she received it few weeks prior to that election and that execution of it was earmarked to be 15 days before election day. The threat possibly financed by somebody who could have been adversely affected with the assumption of Magpale to the topmost position of the provincial seat of power could be behind the aborted assassination plot. Only super rich and influential people can afford to finance that half-a-million-peso-reward offer and people could easily have the probable answer in their mind by now if we are to base it by mere conjecture in the absence of a strong evidence to pin down the mastermind behind that dastardly act. We should bethankful of the meticulous strategy adapted by the good ChiefSuperintendent Marcelo Garbo in providing necessary safety precaution to preserve and protect the life of Magpale from possible harm especially that Magpale engaged herself in various political campaigns of the Liberal Party throughout the Cebu province.

In political campaigns made in Santander and Bogo City, Magpale remembered she noticed about 20 police officers who mingled with the crowd and would only credit it to her position as Acting Governor of Cebu getting the visible police presence to preserve peace and order in those campaigns. But she would later on found that it was so intended to provide strong deterrent to those with criminal intent to disturb peace. We should be thankful of the no-nonsense preparation of  PRO 7 Chief Garbo to protect Magpale from any possible harm on account of the threat and also to be thankful to God that nothing bad happened to Magpale. We cannot help but feel the tremor that news like this could send to everybody's nerves for there are already countless lives who have fallen victims to "Gun-for-hire" individuals. If only the people of Cebu have the power in their hands to hold Garbo's assignment to continue serving the Cebuanos to preserve their peace, so much the better. But we cannot afford to do it if so doing will prevent him to enjoy the promotion that he deserves.

Magtatampo usab siya isip magsusulat sa nasudnong magasin,  "Philippines Free Press" ug sa mga nag-unang peryodiko dinhi sa dakbayan sa Sugbo sa lunhaw pa ang iyang pangedaron. Nahimo siyang mamumuo sa usa ka pribadong kompaniya sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, ESCAÑO LINES, sulod sa napulo ug duha (12) ka tuig  dayon niyang tapon  ngadto sa NAPOCOR  ug nahimong kawani sa kagamhanan  sulod sa bayente dos (22) ka tuig. Niadtong tunga-tungang bahin sa tuig 2000, nilalin siya ngadto sa tinipong nasod sa Amerika ug sulod sa napulo (10) ka tuig, nagtrabaho siya sa  buhatan sa kagamhanan sa nasod sama  sa  UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE (USPS).  Karon sa pangedaron nga 68,  gihuptan gihapon niya ang walay pagkutat nga kadasig ug walay busganan nga kaikag sa pagpaambit sa iyang nahuptang abilidad  ug kabatid sa panulat.  Dili niya mapugngan ang kaugalingon sa pagpaambit sa iyang mga hunahuna labi na kon molambigit kini ug hisgotanan nga makadani sa iyang mga mata.
