Kaban ni D_BystandeR: PAGHANDOM SA PAGTULUN-AN NI NINOY

I still remember a "short story" attributed to Ninoy Aquino where he was said to have pictured a particular scenario in a National Mental Hospital during one of FM's visit to the place. Everybody was jumping wildly to show how happy they were with FM's visit, they were clapping their hands and were shouting with joy, except the guy sitting alone in a corner who just silently watched the whole proceedings. "What happens to that guy?" FM asked the hospital director. "He is already cured, Sir, Mr. President. And tomorrow he is scheduled to go home!"  Ironically, the case of that lonely man is now exemplified by Bongbong Marcos, who understands what's going on, and the rest of the "inmates," are those people who were still "not cured" and still having the paranoia. In other words, it is only Bongbong who tried to  ask questions because he knows the "extra functions" given to Mar do not, anymore, sound logical and within the mandate expected to fall under his responsibilities, while the others just do what the others are doing without knowing what they are approving.
