It's the problem with people who only
live without knowing their responsibility towards their fellowmen, people who
are highly irresponsible and without a conscience. They think they are already
proud because they can post something even a 7-year-old boy will not attempt to
do because it is unchristian, ill-conceived, disgraceful and totally obnoxious
to call names to anybody their evil mind will dictate. Even a decent man, an
honorable person, Mayor Alfred Romualdez is not spared by this moron! He did not know that Mayor Romualdez is an
elected official of Tacloban City and therefore entitled even to the most basic
respect of the most ill-mannered citizen of this planet. Maybe, he did not know
that Mayor Romualdez almost lost his
life because of the harshness of typhoon Yolanda and it was only by a miracle
that he came out still alive! And this man, hiding under the name as
"joeybg" without giving his
true identity and his real address so he can be made accountable and answerable
to the "criminal damage" he
has done by bombarding all kinds of words intended to put the mayor to shame is
probably laughing hideously by himself as if he is a fool who does not know
what he is doing! He is a coward! If you are brave enough to stand by what you
said, give your full name and address so the Mayor can send somebody to pick
you up and put you in jail!

Hi Blystander, I think joeybg is just
expressing his anger and indignation - as much as you're expressing your own. He maligned Mayor
Romualdez as a thief and malingerer, but so did you when you called joeybg a moron and a coward. Your
views of the mayor are different - plain and simple. You - a glass of water
half full, he sees it half empty. You see an honorable man, he sees a
scoundrel. I just butted in because I could feel you're exasperation. Pasensya
na ho, Joey is probably 20-30 years younger than you are kaya mapusok pa. Kayo
po, by your usual tempered decorum, baka ilang taon na rin na senior citizen. Ingat po sa
blood pressure. Regards.

I feel elated with your soothing
words of wisdom and I appreciate your kind thoughts for me. I am not, by any
stretch of imagination, related to Mayor Romualdez but I felt the bluntness of unfounded
and misguided blast against the Mayor
that I cannot afford to just let it pass sitting down so I felt obligated to give him my
"unsolicited" reply to what he believed was his mistaken belief that
he can just malign anybody, at will. You
got it right! I just celebrated my 70th birthday here in the States last Oct.
9. I hope I can still live longer to enjoy the life of a retiree. For your
info, I worked for 34 years in the Philippines (12 years in a private company
(shipping), and 22 years in NAPOCOR) before I migrated to the U.S. and has also worked for
10 years in the States in USPS. i am now taking my free time to enjoy the last leg of my journey
here in this planet. Again, thanks for your kind thoughts!

I find your line against VP Binay as
blatantly malicious and only a man trying to hoodwink the people believing
everybody is gullible will lay claim to your statement built out of falsehood
that man can ever imagine. Are you blind to his record during the darkest hour
in our Philippine history when martial law was declared by Marcos? While
Trillanes and Cayetano were still playing marbles in their grade school, Binay
was already busy in the forefront in his fight against dictatorship. He was a
fearless street parliamentarian who rubbed elbows with our national
"greats" like the exalted and illustrious
Senators in the person of Jose W. Diokno, Jovito Salonga, Lorenzo Tanada, Rene
Saguisag, and many others whose names are now carved in stone because of what
they did during those trying moments. You should give credit where it is due
and Binay's name is among the great national leaders our country was able to
produce. And during the early presidency of President Cory, Binay was there as
a loyal soldier who served her with all his heart until the time she left
Malacanang when her term expires. And because of his hard work he was awarded
by President Cory with a sensitive post as the OIC of Makati during the early
days in her presidency. Binay is the right man for Malacañang in 2016 and
nobody can match him in his love of country and his fellowmen. The people will
rise up as one in 2016 and will elect him to the presidency regardless of
whether the road to Malacanang is full of roadblocks that people like you is
trying to foist all kinds of falsehood to defeat his honest and sincere motive
and devotion to serve our country and people.

The problem with some people is that
they allow themselves to jump into hasty conclusion without verifying the
credibility of the accuser. Mercado's credibility is, in my humble
understanding is, "below zero." So why do you consider his
accusations as gospel truth? The condo unit that he owned where his
"common law wife" was found dead under mysterious circumstances could
be enough to give you a "clue" that this man Mercado is not worth
your trust! But if you are already "sold out" to what Mercado is
doing to destroy the name of Binay for the purpose of stopping him from his dream of capturing Malacanang in 2016, no
other kind of valid proof can be used to dissuade you from forming something in your mind against
Binay and to let yourself realize that what you believe is not worth anything
at all because at this point nobody can ever change your mind. But try to ask yourself
this question because they say "only fools don't change their mind,"
and you are not a fool, are you?

I appreciate your masterful
presentation trying to validate the numerous charges made by Ernesto Mercado against
VP Jejomar Binay at the BRSC (Blue Ribbon Sub-committee). But you did not
refute the significant points I raised against the person of Mercado that as
per testimony of the former Makati administrator, Mercado was the most wicked
kind of gambler in the world that he lost millions of pesos in casino out of
his corrupt practices of arm-twisting some of those businessmen who came to him
for help in transacting business at Makati
city government being the Vice Mayor at the time. And the lot he owned in Coron,
Palawan which was said to cover an area of 100 hectares with all the modern
amenities that the Miss Earth International pageant organizers has decided to
make it their official venue of their resplendent affair. And another one is
his charge that Binay owned 4 hectares in Dingalan, Aurora province but the
documents do not bear signature of Binay. But the adjacent lots are found to be
owned by Mercado. You should be fair to Binay that before jumping into hasty
conclusion you should first examine the credibility of the man making the
accusation. With the kind of credibility that Mercado has, he would most
probably come to a point that, if prodded by his "handlers," he will
no doubt charge that it was Binay who nailed Jesus Christ to the cross. The
government's handling of Mercado's case, even if he is under WPP (Witness
Protection Program), he is allowed to travel abroad, to Los Angeles, probably
with government escorts. And this is given to Mercado to pamper him the more to
provide other damaging and highly malicious charges against Binay. And for all
you know, the documents presented by Mercado, we don't know if he got them from
spurious source that abound in Recto because they are good in that kind of
manufacturing fictitious docs.
