Kaban ni D_BystandeR: PUBLIKONG TAMBALANAN SA SUGBO, NAHUTDAN UG MGA GAMIT???

While Mayor Mike Rama concentrates himself on how the CCMC is constructed to let it conform to his vision of a "World Class Hospital," to the extent that he was even reported  to have exhibited some controversial reactions of showing "tantrums" to show his disgust over the disqualification of his favorite contractor "WTG" by the BAC (Bidding and Award Committee), there appears a more alarming irony in the sense that it was found out the services rendered by CCMC to its patients have been found out "below par" and this was noticed by its poor patients, and that some doctors are asking the patients a fee for their services rendered. It is recently brought to the attention of CCMC high officials that even some of the basic supplies it is expected to provide patients with plasters and syringes are now found non-existent. And this points out to palpable negligence by hospital officials concerned and would certainly reinforce the belief that there is now an ongoing breakdown of services which is a great departure from what is supposedly expected from a hospital. Drastic action by Mayor Mike is expected to bring back the "lost image" of the hospital for the satisfaction of the poor city residents it is expected to serve.

Footnote: This comment came out in connection with a news item that appeared in Cebu Daily News where high officials of CCMC were called to attend a session in the  City Council to shed light into some of the observations that the hospital was not  doing well with its services to serve the medical needs of city residents.
