Nancy cannot even craft an intelligent question: nagmukhang walang alam. Dapat pinuntirya niya ang issue of overpricing, not kung nabayaran na ba ang Hillmarcs.

Sen. Nancy binay started building up her premise by asking the resource persons about how the funding was done. She initially got correct answers but she could not go on with her adopted strategy with that line of questioning because Drilon felt nervous and became impatient that Nancy might, in the end, be able to extract some damaging facts and information related to the questionable construction of ICC (Iloilo Convention Center) that was why Drilon cut her off saying, "Why don't you ask me directly to answer your question, why beat around the bush?" Drilon didn't know it  but by doing so he was displaying a kind of "rudeness" that a man of his stature should have refrained from doing. It looks like he was using the  style of the "kanto boys" who are unschooled and bereft of etiquette. And  being a seasoned lawyer that Drilon has been known through the years, he could not allow the questioning of Nancy to go on. Nancy could have a point there but she noticed the atmosphere was not conducive to her "fighting stance" because the rest of the "boys" appeared like singing songs of "alleluia" to Drilon being their Senate President and they all belong to the same party affiliation except Nancy who is from UNA. But being a "good and seasoned" lawyer is not a guarantee that Drilon cannot be tempted with the "glare of money." Marcos was a famous and brilliant lawyer" but he succumbed to the lure of unlimited power and he became a dictator who amassed "billions" during his reign where he ruled the country for 20 long years in an "iron grip."
