This editorial bespeaks of Cheking Seares' "down to earth" dislike of Tommy. He is now trying to present himself as possessing a "sharper" mind compared to COMELEC-Manila who accepted the factual truth behind Jun Pe's candidacy when he transferred from the North to the South District. And Jun Pe's logic is easily understandable that it doesn't need a "rocket scientist" to understand the simplicity of facts that by transferring from one place to the other which also affected a different set of voters, he cannot be charged anymore as guilty of the term limits set by the constitution because he will now be elected by a different set of voters from the South District. His term limit only applies to his former position as city councilor of the North District. This is a very simple case of understanding and because that logic is supported by Tommy it is now vehemently considered by Sunstar as a blatant offense against the constitution of which it is not. 

Finally, it is the people in the South District who shall be considered the final arbiter, if it decides to uphold Jun Pe's candidacy by giving him a fresh mandate in the South District, there is nothing that Sunstar can do to negate the people's popular will.
