THE HEAT IS ON

Now that the green flag is hoisted, the public is finally given the worthwhile opportunity to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea. While politicians are badmouthing and tearing each other apart, let us not be dissuaded by the dirty tricks employed by those who profess to us the sun and the moon. Rather, let us seek guidance from the overpowering ills of our country and be reflective on what we can do to bring back our lost glory as responsible electorates.

We have a right to protect, a duty to perform and untold challenges to face to be able to elect the deserving ones. We shall take advantage of our collective strength and unity to hearken the call of conscience by dissecting the myth from reality and by distinguishing the truths from half-truths.
