Kaban ni D_BystandeR:MIBIYAHE NA SI LOLONG???

The largest saltwater crocodile in captivity last year acknowledged by Guinness World Records, measuring the giant at 6.17 meters (20 feet and 3 inches and weighing a ton. The reptile top the spot from an  Australian crocodile that measured more than 5 meters (17 feet) and weighed nearly a ton. Estimated at more than 50 years old, the crocodile was named "Lolong" after a government environmentalist officer who died from a heart attack after travelling to Bunawan in Agusan del Sur province to help capture the beast. 

The crocodile named "Lolong" died and was autopsied Monday.

They found a suicide note near his pond. It says: "I am fed up of this 

illegal detention and the massive corruption throughout the country. My 

only crime was eating a carabao of a villager out of hunger while my 

political "kapatids" who plundered the country are free and allowed to 

travel anywhere they wish. What an injustice! I know I won't get justice

here coz I have no connection or party affiliation or money to bribe a 

court. I appreciate our President's best efforts to eradicate corruption 

but he is not getting enough support from his "bosses." Furthermore, he

is having a hard time to catch the corrupt coz many of them are now 

wearing yellow dress to avoid detection. I am sad for the ordinary

Filipinos who are the victims of social and legal injustice. I hope my 

death will ignite a moral revolution in this country and my fellow crocs

change their attitude of GREED which is the root of all evil things.

D_BystandeR - I appreciate the alleged "suicide note" left by Lolong

in his detention cell. It is full of sarcasm and diatribes against his 

fellow "buayas" lording inside the halls of Congress. What you missed

is the mention of countless lives he must have devoured while roaming

around in the marshlands and swampy areas where he lived for an 

estimated 50 years unchallenged and living like a "king" before he was 

caught by a community determined to end his rule in his own kingdom

so that he can fill the pockets of the town mayor out of the income 

generated by throngs of people especially the tourists who come to get a 

personal glimpse of how and what a giant croc look like as added funding to

help finance the needs of his constituents. I agree with the town mayor's

plan to preserve the body of Lolong so that the people will be forever

reminded of the "buayas" in Congress masquerading as senators and 

congressmen, this does not include however those elected officials who 

consider themselves as government servants and not as "masters."
