Kaban ni D_BystandeR: GIPALABI ANG MAKALILISANG NGA GASTO SA HINAGIBAN KAYSA KABALAYAN??

I cannot imagine what will happen to this government assistance to the typhoon and earthquake victims. The big disparity in the  amount approved - P2.2B - is only 14.7 percent of the total amount proposed - P15B - by National Housing Authority (NHA) is a big joke.

And I can just imagine the political undertones given to this highly questionable development because what comes to mind when Malacanang made the deliberation of NHA's request is that VP Binay is running for president in 2016 and it will certainly boost the likelihood of Binay to win against Mar Roxas if the P15B is given. Malacanang doesn't care whether the people will be fighting against each other for the measly rehabilitation budget approved as long as they can have what they believed is good for them to realize their own agenda. But they have all the money and they can have everything if we talk about the government purchase of fighter planes, helicopters and other military hardware. Our government has queerly a different priority - military needs first over the people's basic needs!
