Samsung debuted its 85-inch Ultra HD television set at last week's Consumer Electronics Show, and now the company has begun taking pre-orders for the TV in South Korea. The price is 40 million Korean won, which is just under $38,000.  Ultra HD, also known as 4K, is one of TV's next-generation technologies. Ultra HD sets have four times the resolution as that of 1080p HD TVs.

The new technology is supposed to offer a more crystal-clear image, particularly with TV sets larger than 60 inches. For now, there are no details on when the Samsung, Ultra HD TV will make its way to the U.S. or howmuch it'll cost, according to Engadget.
