Kaban ni D_BystandeR: KINSA SI PADRE JAMES "Jim" REUTER???

There are lots of foreign missionary priests who spent a big portion of their lifetime in the Philippines. They were all sincerely devoted to their vocation and finding out that lives of the poor needed their guidance and self-sacrifice some of them did not bother to take heed of the "dangers" that sometimes go with their "special role" as the defender of the rights of the poor being trampled upon. Some of them who valiantly fought side-by-side for justice for the poor met their violent deaths at the hands of those who represented "the distorted version" of how the filthy rich businessmen and crooked politicians behave and want to keep their "thrones" at all costs. 

We shall all be thankful to Jesuit Fr. James "Jim" B. Reuter, 96, for spending his precious life with us and thereby imparting his wisdom to many people whose lives he had affectionately touched in his lifetime.
