This is too much a man could bear. Having lost a child in a very grisly manner, he is now confronted with another problem prodded by the group of the accused who can afford to gather a "built-in-crowd" of twenty people with uniformed T-shirts bearing printed markings that the two accused, "Ruby Santos and the British national Ian Griffiths are innocent." 

He could have died had Renante Pique not been forewarned with a loud warning shout from his wife that a man at his back was about to stab him with a "big" improvised barbecue stick. And with a lightning fashion he turned to his back and waved his fist at the intruder who at that point ran away probably to avoid being identified. The police authorities should not discount the evil intent of this group intended to harass and intimidate the complainant because this group is believed continuously receiving large financial support from the British national who still remain "at large" because he is away from the jurisdiction of our courts as he was able to surreptitiously fled the country one step ahead of law enforcers who were about to arrest him. The fact that the group of the accused is able to hire a battery of good lawyers is a living testament to its unlimited financial resources received from the other accused who is freely roaming his home country because there is no extradition treaty to compel his presence to attend a court hearing here in Cebu City.
