Just a friendly reminder to senator Miriam Defensor Santiago. You already know what military-minded  people usually do, they usually speak through the "barrel of the gun" to silence their adversary if they are at a loss to find answers, in other words, "isang bala ka lang" mentality is still there.

I hope this time you are now reviewing the "capability"of your personal "backup" if they are already prepared for any "contingency" as an aftermath of the heated "word war" you have with JPE. Remember the series of "coups" during Cory's time? And this time Sen.Miriam is not only just facing against one but two former "trusted" Marcos' men with the inclusion of  Sen. Lacson who felt "slighted" with some of Miriam's revelation regarding "MOOE" - mostly described as additional Maintenance and Other Operating Expenditures recently released by the Senate President to 18 Senators. Miriam is among the 5 remaining senators who did not get the P1.6 million MOOE.She was only given P250 thousand by JPE which she returned by way of her personal check. Asked if the others also returned their P250T she answered she did not know the reaction of the other senators who also received the same amount from the Senate President. The amount represents the savings accumulated in the Office of the Senate President in which after two years will be reverted to General Fund if no action is taken on it. The exchange of "fireworks" between the two senators (Miriam and JPE) reached to the extent of Miriam taking a "dig" at JPE's acquired wealth on his sensitive role during the Marcos dictatorship where the lady senator also hinted that JPE is "answerable" to the lives of countless people who disappeared at that time. As to the question regarding his "wealth" he said he  was already investigated during the time of Cory by Bienvenido Tan and he was given a "clean bill" after that investigation. And besides, he practiced his law profession during that time not like Miriam who, according to him, only  worked in the government without practicing her law profession. 

Furthermore, JPE countered that Miriam worked under the Office of Kokoy Romualdez. the younger brother of Imelda and he saidMiriam has a lot of explaining to do with her acquired wealth during that stint.
