Kaban ni D_BystandeR: PANAHOM

"Tell it to Sunstat" which is clearly the handiwork of editor Cheking Seares is disguised as depicting contributions of people with fictitious names. 

No editor in his right mind would allow this to happen under his watch especially that the views expressed therein are what we call obnoxious and do not merit any iota of doubt that they qualify for publication. And I'm sure Cheking after his recent editorial in which he exposed our President Noynoy to ridicule when he called him "Man of the Year" with his accompanying explanation laced with descriptions full of disrespect, mockery and so derogatory in its contents that only a writer with a sick mind can ever do that. I cannot understand why Cheking  felt the suspension order issued by the President to Gwendolyn Garcia could ever hurt him so much as if he valued the image of Gwen as "untouchable" and beyond the disciplinary power of the President. Why is he hiding under his  editorial position to slam the Office of the President with horrendous  disrespect and mockery as if he lost his sound mind as a responsible editor? He held this position not just yesterday but for several decades  until this paper (Sunstar) has grown up this big to become a large network. And why is he abusing his editorial position now? Does he think he is  beyond the disciplinary power of the President because he is hiding under the skirt of "Freedom of the Press?" I find it totally mind-boggling that a lawyer, even if he does not practice that profession, can be so affected with what happened to Gwen that he will lose his balance such that he is now ready to gamble his prestige (i. e. if he still has that prestige?), his  editorial position and his profession as a lawyer to the extent that he looks like a man gone berserk with inner feeling to inflict in a most vicious  way to hurt the image, honor and respect of the Office of the President  of the Philippines disregarding what will happen to him in return?
