Kaban ni D_BystandeR: KALIBOGAN

I am at a loss what to say of a news item announcing the financial help for the critically wounded victim, lady Prosecutor Casino, who is still in the Chong Hua Hospital, of DOJ Secretary Leila De Lima, Tommy O (help was announced to be taken from P300T – his congressional share) and Mike Rama (as reported to have issued a directive to his city hall administrator, Jose Marie Poblete, to charge all expenses to the city government). Why does the brother of the victim asked from other outside help from the public and to the office of the Canadian embassy in Cebu where they were only given the runaround to contact their Canadian Manila embassy which could not be reached because the number given was always busy and  not relay his urgent message for help to the above personalities to help defray the hospital bills of his sister?

 I don't think these honorable men and respected personalities will disown what they have pledged in public to help in paying the hospital bills of the victim. Maybe it only needs a little follow-up from interested parties (like the victim's brother Cornejo) to those benefactors so the hospital bills now piling up could be settled immediately and not to jeopardize the continued treatment  of the victim for her early recovery.
