Kaban ni D_BystandeR: DAKONG INSULTO!!!

The position that Jose Palma acquired to become Cebu Archbishop to fill up the place vacated by retired Emeritus Cardinal Vidal who occupied that position in a most fitting, respectable and honorable manner without any visible sign of favoritism that is now being shown shamelessly by his successor to the suspended governor Gwen, is the highest position a priest can get. And before getting that post he got lots of "sharpening activities"that were intended to be his guide to make him fair in his dealings with his supposed "flock." Considering therefore that both of them - the suspended governor Gwen and Governor Magpale are all Catholics, it behooves to Palma that in the name of FAIRNESS he should pay both of them a visit because
visiting only one of them will leave a bad impression that he is practicing favoritism.  Because while both of them occupy the highest Cebu provincial post in the government the former is "suspended" by the President of the land while the latter is the "acting Governor" with all the powers vested in her by the current government. Just because Gwen had earlier done a favor by serving dinner to 130 priests in CICC last November 30 during the occasion of St. Pedro Calungsod is not a valid reason for him to ignore the presence of Gov. Agnes Magpale at the Capitol. For all he knows, it is within the kind discretion of Governor Magpale whether to honor or dishonor the bills submitted  to her Office for payment of the meals served to the "130 priests." Maybe he didn't know it or somebody close to him and in a position to advise him on the propriety of his visits to Gwen at the Capitol failed to remind him about it. Palma in so doing not only disrespects the position of Magpale as the newly installed Governor but also insults the intelligence of the Cebuanos not only ONCE, TWICE but for THREE CONSECUTIVE TIMES he made his visit to Gwen thinking it was all a "clean job" for a Cebu Archbishop to do "just like that."

What a big blunder and insult to the Cebuanos (because he is not a Cebuano, he comes from Dingle, Iloilo) who view his position to be the epitome of FAIRNESS to the highest degree imaginable.

What a glaring insult indeed not only to duly sworn Governor Magpale but to all Cebuanos that the gov represents as well. Additionally this supposed leader of the church is unworthy of the cloth because of his unfairness (not once by three times?), bias and act of corruption. Yes, it is corruption and abuse of influence that he allowed his priests to have a banquet at the expense of the taxpayers who, unlike the priests, are mostly suffering in dire poverty .
