Kaban ni D_BystandeR; HAYAG ANG KAUGMAON NI BINAY PAGKA PANGULO???

Vice President Jejomar Binay is a dark horse in the presidential  election in 2016 and between now and that particular event many things can happen that could make or unmake him for his dreamed presidency. The present turmoil in Sabah has affected a downhill  trend of P-Noy's popularity rating from 78 percent to 66 percent. Binay's popularity is placed at 69 percent, a few points higher than that of P-Noy.  And in the national front, bloggers are one in denouncing  the indefensible stand of P-Noy who would rather see our Filipino brothers in Sabah subjected to all kinds of human degradation in the hands of Malaysian forces. In other news sources, there are now a total of 34 battleships of our Philippine Navy stationed in the  southern tip of our country not to defend our embattled brothers who  are maltreated in Sabah but to intercept some of our brother Tausogs who would have come to help our beleaguered brothers in Sabah. Binay's appeal for Philippine group to help our OFWs in Sabah is a sharp contrast to the stand taken by P-Noy administration who  appeared to have connived with Malaysian leader Najib Razak in their inhuman treatment of Filipinos in Sabah whose rights to stay in Sabah even if they are well-documented are ignored, insulted and at worst asked to run and then sprayed with bullets like animals, devoid of any  respect believing that P-Noy's sympathy is with the Malaysian  government rather to his Filipino countrymen whose dignity and pride  are supposed to be under his own lookout and responsibility.  Binay  voiced out his call for a PH special group to directly assist overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) affected by the tensions there. Vice President Binay made this appeal to the Malaysian government during last Friday's press briefing in Cebu. 

"I just hope that we will be allowed, as it happened in the past where we had that problem in Mindanao, there were Filipinos who went to Sabah. We were allowed to put up a special group assisting, right there in Sabah," he said.  Binay also asked the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to set up processing center in Tawi-Tawi province anticipating the mass exodus of OFWs due to continuing tensions in Sabah. Binay said his Office could facilitate the reintegration of the  OFWs providing them with new skills for livelihood. 

He also said that he could facilitate in bringing the OFWs home by providing fare and transportation. "Not all Filipinos from Sabah have come from Tawi-Tawi particularly. There are those from Basilan and others," he said.
