Kaban ni D_BystandeR: NAKASUBAY SA TUKMA'NG SUBOK ANG PULONG NI BONGBONG

bongbong marcos
This is the most responsible and logical statement I've heard so far from Senator Bongbong Marcos! I don't care whether he is the son of the dictator who ruled our country for two decades with "iron fist" but what is important for me now is that he has seen the urgent need of our Philippine government to act in the defense of the precious lives of our brother Filipinos who are now subjected to a lopsided kind of battle where the Malaysians are now using their superior firepower and "war tools" like fighter jets with guided laser bombs. I was since the very beginning an avid defender of President Noynoy's administration in whatever issue before but in this particular case I find his official reaction and pronouncements to this Sabah crisis wanting in sincerity and could be viewed as "anti-Filipino."

Just imagine our Philippine  Navy now working hand-in hand with their Malaysian counterparts in providing a naval blockade so that whatever our brother Tausugs
will do to help those whose lives are in peril in Sabah could be effectively blocked. What do they want? They want our brothers  now inside Sabah to be mercilessly massacred by the Malaysians? And anything can happen because the area where the "battleground" is located is now declared "off-limits" to the media! President Noynoy, if he still considers himself the leader of all Filipinos, he should do  something within his power to save their lives from total annihilation and without any "pre-condition" honor and respect the Sultan of Sulu, Jamalul Kiram III, with a dialogue or a meeting even in a "close-door" meeting to resolve this burning Sabah issue. A reprint in the "Inquirer" few days ago about an excerpt of a speech delivered by Senator Jovy Salonga in March 1963 is very enlightening! That could give him a "bird's eye view" of what this Sabah claim is all about.
