In the light of the present developments, the Filipino people expect President Aquino to act reasonably and decisively to prevent waste of precious human lives offered to the altar of this Sabah claim conflict. We expect him to give more  importance to the saying that "blood is thicker than water." 

Filipinos dying in Sabah, including those whose lives and livelihoods were displaced as an aftermath of this present conflict, should bear more sympathy and careful assessment of all the necessary facts by the present leadership rather than give weight to false pride of showing "supremacy" over anything historical and legal.
