Re-electionist Senator Alan Peter Cayetano's campaign promise to reduce by 50 percent the 12 percent VAT charged to gasoline and other oil products during the time of GMA if he is re-elected is a step in the right direction and is expected to considerably lessen the burdensome tax that made the lives of the poor people utterly miserable, what with everything from all kinds  of products and services with prices going "through the  roof" from the moment it was first implemented. This  proposal of Senator Cayetano if implemented could  lower the transport fares and everything that is affected by fuel prices. And this possibility is big because Cayetano is shown leading the pack of possible "sure winners" in different respectable "poll surveys."
