The Kirams, for all their faults, still remain Filipinos. They declared themselves as Filipinos whose voices were never heard, not once but thrice. They said they wrote to Malacanang in  2010, 2011 and 2012. DFA admitted their lapses and apologized. Let's stop all the blaming. The Philippine government has to protect them from further harm now that the UN declared ceasefire and urge all parties to peaceful negotiations. OFWs who were strayed overseas are vigorously defended by Ph, regardless of their guilt or innocence. Let's extend the same to those holed up there in distant island waiting for a massacre. It's time to stop all the killings of Filipinos including Malaysians in Sabah.

It really needs a quick and effective decision of the P-Noy administraton to think twice and ask their conscience if they really can afford to just let our brother Filipino Tausugs now holed-up in harm's way in Sabah to be massacred by Malaysian forces using their "war tools" of death both shown in air and ground supremacy over a rag-tag group of followers of Sultan Kiram. The UN has already issued an order to stop the "killings" on both sides and Sultan Jamalul Kiram III has now positively acknowledged the UN declaration of ceasefire and ordered his followers to follow and observe ceasefire or ending of hostilities on their side and expected the other side to follow suit. But the problem now is with the Malaysian leader Najib who wants nothing but for the total annihilation of our poor brother Tausugs. If President Noynoy through his men in DFA can ask them to do something to save the remaining lives of our brothers it will be a great achievement that he should try to explore. It is not enough for him to just fold his arms in contemptible inaction in the midst of lives being threatened and now in the  brink of imminent death and just let the Malaysians do the senseless massacre of our brother Filipinos. As President of our country he can do much to exhaust his power and  influence as a respected world leader to do something before it is too late for him to save the lives of those who are still alive and "still kicking."
